I have never used this bittorrent module in Drupal (just watched the code). Actually, it is a kind of bittorrent tracker. You can add tracker function to your drupal site in a few clicks. Anyway, I don't like this module because it is not drupalic. In other words, this module just wrapped an old fashion bittorrent tracker scripts. The advantage of this module is that it relies on drupal node so you can manage a torrent file as a node.
